Meet The Band

Lisa (Lead Vocals)

Lisa's musical history reaches back to the early '90s with much of her time spent as 50% of the highly successful duo's "Destiny" and "d-votion". Pursuing a desire to perform with a full live band, she co-founded "BakTracks" and has enjoyed every minute since. She also collaborates with other members of the band on recording projects.

Lisa's superb vocal range and dynamic delivery allows the band to deliver a wide selection of styles and genres and her confident and charismatic stage presence always results in a great rapport with audiences.

Lisa's skill with audiences naturally means she "fronts" the band and, looking at the others, that's no doubt a good thing?

Clint (Lead Guitar, Vocals)

Clint is a guitarist of outstanding quality and is held in high esteem by all the musicians he has worked with over many years. He has played in bands covering everything from Classic Rock and Blues to Cajun and Ceilidh. Clint has appeared on TV and radio and has played just about every type of venue from cabaret to festivals.

Clint also doubles on keyboards and backing vocals and will occasionally take a lead vocal. When not with the band, he can usually be found somewhere under a pile of junk in his recording studio.

Clint likes to think he's the musical director but the rest of the band knows otherwise!

Mick (Drums Lead & Vocals)

Mick is the bands "engine" and delivers his foot-tapping rhythms with a flamboyance and enthusiasm which is infectious. He also doubles on backing vocals and has a passion for Rock 'n' Roll for which he will occasionally take the lead vocal. Mick has performed in numerous bands over the years and has covered a wide variety of styles and genres at venues throughout the UK, and as far afield as Memphis Tennessee where he performed on Beale Street.

When not with the band, Mick spends much of his time managing the business side and, although he would rather be drumming, prides himself in his professional approach.

Mick first discovered he enjoyed hitting things at the tender age of 14 years when somebody sat him behind a drum kit and put some sticks in his hand!

Peter G (Bass Guitar, Backing Vocals)

Pete originally started out playing original material with a Sheffield based band before moving on to playing covers with a number of successful local outfits prior to co-founding "BakTracks". If Mick is the "engine" then Pete is the "driver" and together they create the rhythmic excitement around which the rest of the music is based.

Pete also doubles on backing vocals and has a particular flair for vocal harmonies. He can also double on guitar or keyboards if necessary.

If the band had a HR dept then Pete would be it! He has a ready smile and tons of personality which contributes to the bands atmosphere on and off stage. Pete usually gets sent to collect the fee!

Peter N (Guitar, Backing vocals)

Pete is a relative newcomer to the live performance world but don't let that fool you! He has spent many years devoted to the guitar as a hobby and has developed an excellent "ear" and all the skills required. Pete and Clint are a complementary pair and, together can tackle even the most challenging of guitar arrangements.

Prior to joining "BakTracks", Pete spent a number of years operating a mixing desk for other bands and, although "BakTracks" has a dedicated sound engineer, he is quite at home with the complexities of mixing consoles and sound reinforcement systems. He also has a real interest and considerable knowledge of the technical aspects of performing and is unofficially the bands "techie".

Pete can be heard referring to arcane subjects such as "crossovers", "EQ", "pre-fade", "channel-grouping", etc... the rest of the band smile sweetly and nod!
